introducing the first two Singles of the EP....
Crown Crescent Moon & Sometimes at Night
The EP 'Her Salt' is inspired by very personal experiences that have formed into a Myth: a Baltic Sea heroine that guards the feminine and nature.
Each song focuses on a part of the Fairytale myth, as well as well as the personal story that inspired it. In 'Crown Crescent Moon' we learn of the ocean birth of the Bison Rouge and the Slavic, Baltic State, heritage of the artist. 'Her Salt' dives into finding ones own value as well as the strengths of the hero. The journey continues with the instrumental 'Call through Oceans' and the epic 'Burn all my' as songs that explore overcoming challenges and struggles. We land with celebration of a new beginning in the electronic pop song 'Sometimes at Night' and coming together through it all with the ballad 'Hold and Fall'.
The hero meets her destiny as a guardian and protector, the artist finds her resolution.
from indie classical, folk, to electronic inspirations...
Listeners are welcome to enter the world of each album and the singles 'Cathedral of Trees' (2021) and more recently the cover 'I Put a Spell on You' (2023) and Death is a Woman in White (2024). From the Indie and Eastern European folk roots in 'Diesel vs Lungs' (2013) to the cello-loop driven siren songs of 'Oder'(2016), the Bison Rouge glides along genres with her cello and voice as the journey continues into the electronic of her chosen home Berlin....
