ABOUT
Bison Rouge dives into electronic, modern folk, and neoclassical with her captivating cello, voice, and pieces. Her sound and songs transcend personal experiences by forming into an epic Myth: a Baltic Sea heroine with sonic powers that guards the feminine and nature. Influences from Sudan Archives, Laboratorium Piesni, Eartheater, and Jonny Greenwood are heard in this Polish born, Seattle raised, Berlin based self-producing artist. Songs from the 2025 Bison Rouge EP mixed by immersive engineer Thomas Geiger (Blind Guardian, Nils Frahm) were heard live at this year’s SXSWLondon, Spot DK, and Garbicz PL, Festivals.
Driven by her passion for music technology, she will release her EP 'Her Salt' this year, mixed in immersive sound/Dolby Atmos. Her latest atmospheric single ‘Death is a Woman in White’ received a nomination for ‘Best in Film Music’ at the German Songwriting Awards. She has won the DIANA Songwriting contest, TOA19 ‘Battle of the Sounds’, and a Portland, OR ‘DRAMMY. She has performed at Fusion Festival, Spot Festival DK, Detect Classic Festival, and Berlin Clubs such as Kater Blau to enthralled audiences. Becoming a mother and her Polish roots deeply inspire her music, shaping the stories she brings to life in her music and onstage.
As an educator and facilitator, she brings her experience working with music technology and AI creativity to workshops and commissions such as 'Found in Translation', which she co-created with Jovanka von Wilsdorf for Pop-Kultur Berlin and Most Wanted Music.
She is endorsed by Orchestral Tools and has performed at events including Neumann Microphones and Coach Hub.
